CANADIAN LOCATIONS
Actlabs’ full-service, ISO 17025 Accredited, geochemistry laboratory in Kamloops services the exploration and mining industry in Western Canada and the North-West USA and was established in 2012.
This laboratory provides sample preparation, analysis of precious metals by fire assay with atomic absorption spectrometry and gravimetry, and multi-element analysis with a variety of digestion and fusion methods and ICP-OES.
In September 2023, Actlabs moved into a brand-new, custom-built, geochemistry laboratory in Kamloops. The new laboratory is designed for increased efficiency and continued expansion of our services and is much closer to the Kamloops business centre, which is more convenient for sample delivery.

Actlabs’ full-service, high-capacity, geochemistry laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario, opened in 2008 and was extensively renovated in early 2020 to upgrade the facility and significantly increase capacity.
It is staffed by experienced personnel and houses state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation to provide a wide range trace-level to high-grade analysis methods to the local mining and exploration industry. Methods include gold and other precious metals by fire assay, and multi-element methods involving AA, ICP-OES, XRF instrumentation.
